#postit #fiddleyards - here is the fiddle yard for my Speedlow layout. First photo from 2013 shows the track layout being developed. I decided to use two Peco code 100 3-way points in tandem with a short piece of flexi in between to help with clearances. Second photo shows the nearly complete yard with a few items of rolling stock to prove train lengths, most importantly line one able to take a 37 and 8 eight ICI hopper wagons :-) Third photo shows the now fully wired fiddle yard on the lower level plus the main quarry sidings on the standard baseboard height plus the short DCC programming track I added in case I needed to do any programming whilst at a show - positioned in between the 3rd and 4th lines. The final photo shows the fiddle yard being used at a show in December 2015, when the layout was operated as a work-in-progress demo. And that is about as far as I have got with the layout...
