Normally the layout is safely boxed away in the garage, but I had erected over the weekend in preparation for an exhibition that I will be attending in Minehead (30th Oct) and thought that I had better check everything through. I run the layout using NCE PowerCAB DCC system, connected via a USB interface to a Raspberry Pi running JMRI software so that I can operate the engines and points via an app on my phone. The points are driven by SEEP point machines via a MERG accessory decoder. The JMRI software allows all of the sound functions to be listed on buttons on the Engine Driver app.
