Two areas of pottering today. The retaining wall has had a basic wash and highlights during the week, so a start on tying it all together has been made with my favourite ochre/paynes grey mix. I sometimes like to use a dry brush with washes as you can get some nice and unexpected effects! Secondly, been experimenting with foliage. Both teased scourer and garden twine. Held on with some hairspray I "found", the scatter is some awful stuff I've had for years but serves to mess with. Tonight, I'm planning on track weathering trials on the discarded Setrack, before committing to the "proper" stuff. (TBH I have to buy the proper stuff yet!) Foliage photos are for demonstration purposes only.. I couldn't live with that permanently!
