First proper post. My model railway is very much a work in progress all be it slow progress as the majority is in storage awaiting re-location. So it has been a bit frustrating following all the great ideas on here and champing at the bit to get stuck in, so today I dragged a small section from the shed to have a go at changing some couplings to Kadees. Two Bachmann brake wagons fitted with mediums (Kadee 18) and a Hornby Mk1 fitted with Long (Kadee 19). I have a number of magnets under various bits of track as I do like a good shunt. Will be converting more as I find them nice and reliable (if you make sure you use the Kadee Coupler Height Gauge and not as imposing as some of the older lock and tension couplings.
