Another busy day in Knutsford fuel dump; installed the hedge armature, blockaded the dead end of the road and foliaged the retaining wall and buttress. Finally (or so I thought) ballasted between the tracks that pass through the long vanished bridge. “That looks good”, I thought. So I decided it would look even better with my class 24 posing alongside. And then disaster struck. I still don’t know how, but the loco derailed and dropped into the recently glued ballast!🥴 . Let’s hope the service wizards at Bachman can save my bacon!
