#weekendmodelling wasn’t too exciting, fitted Peco NEM pockets with close couplers to the slate wagons, and test ran them. Need to put together some wagons to bridge the gap between the close couplers and the standard type. Caused issues as the slate wagons are so low, ended up needing to cut too much away to get the heights right, the RTR bolster wagons worked though, tempted to get some Peco RTR slate wagons and just use them, for ease. Either way, ready for painting now. Also lurking in the background, the shed has had doors, bargeboards and guttering fitted and is ready for painting (door has been modelled ajar, though the more I look at it, just looks ill fitting!)
