Chapter 4 The site purchase having been made, the Hops’ Choice team are beginning to make their plans for the site. The main building work would be renovating the existing warehouses and designing the building to house the brewing equipment itself. This will be attempted from scratch, will be well lit and include a large viewing window. There will need to be a loading area to get goods in and out and, to fund the scheme into the future, a station platform will be made to accommodate tourists coming from the mainline to do exclusive brewery tours. An engine has been purchased for shunting duties.
