Had to resort to (re)modelling in 12 inches : 1 foot scale with the local heritage rail group this weekend as my parcel from the team is still in transit. This 1943 built First Class car used on the Auckland to Wellington expresses is being opened up for engineering assessment as part of its restoration programme. Hopefully this time next year it will join our fleet of main line certified carriages.
