Been having a quick watch of Hornby Magazines review of the new Bachmann class 47. The samples they’re reviewing are the top end £300 ‘Deluxe’ models with all the bells and whistles. However, there is still a shocking great strip of copper pickup visible, on a model that costs that much! Looking at the model, yes it’s stunning, but to my layman’s eye, I can’t see much difference between this and my Bachmann 47 from years ago, which begs the question why are they doing it?
