Hi All. I'm Martin. I live in Essex and spent 25 years commuting into Fenchurch Street before retiring and returning to railway modelling after a very long absence. I grew up alongside the Waterloo to Portsmouth main line, all Bulleid Pacifics and green EMUs, and travelled daily to school on 2-BILs and the like. We moved away in 1966 and I'd never seen a diesel on the line! I model mostly steam era, SR of course, but anything else that takes my fancy. Most of my rolling stock comes via Ebay and I love detailing and bringing all those "spares and repairs" non-runners back to life.
