Enid Watson (a maid from Owley Manor) checks with Station Master Reg Cleckheaton, that the early morning service to Newton Abbot will not be too long before leaving ,as she needs to be at the market as early as possible. Station porter Arthur Smithers, 'grasses up' the train crew who are just finishing their breakfast in the Bothy !!!!
