I don't know if any of you have had any experience with the Corgi Model Club. I took up the offer of the Wall's ice cream van that was advertised on a flyer with Model Rail some months back. I received the model and was informed by email that I may not be billed and an invoice would follow if needed. Today I have just received an email from CCS Collect for a total of £28.98p. I contacted the Corgi Model Club and to my surprise the bill had been passed on to a debt recovery agency. They informed that several letters had been sent to my home address, which we have never received. Before you even consider buying a collectors model, I would check reviews about the club, which are not particularly glowing. Just a friendly message to all members of the Railway Modellers Club community.
