Bass used to run a “works outing” to a seaside resort, yearly I think, so here’s a picture of the 8 specials trains lined up outside Blackpool station, also a picture of the Prince of Wales alighting after a brewery tour in the directors coach on his visit to the brewery in 1929, a picture of the maintenance team alongside the directors coach, the coach on another tour, and on very rare occasions, there used to be enthusiasts specials tours on the brewery rail system shown in the last picture. ……late edit, a bit more info on the Bass seaside trips in the comments……..
