Very pleased with these old airfix B set coaches. Yes the bogies are still the origin plastic but they run OK on my Little My' layout so that's good enough for me. As shown before, I have painted the roof, interior and window drop frames. Then decided to try using the capillary method to highlight the door frames. Used Humbrol Dark Brown enamel Wash. Took a while and it's amazing how you hold the brush at the top and watch it flow to the bottom of the frame. A quick tidy up with a cotton bud and its done. Just a bit more weathering to do. Photo 1 is without the wash. Photo 2 with it done. Hopefully the effect shows up OK.
