Does anyone else have a problem with what I believe is called displacement activity? I have reached a point with the layout where trains run and basic scenery is in place and some bits of detail are in place, but there are trees, grass, more buildings etc to be done and not quite sure where to start. So to justify not having the time to get on with it I have been doing house maintenance clearing out rubbish etc. , the displacement activity. This morning I have ignored the pull of the paint brush, avoided the black bags and started making some trees and it is very relaxing.
