I finished reading this book last night, I highly recommend it! It’s full of great pre-war photos and anecdotes of train spotting, which are quite entertaining and interesting to read! The book focuses on LNER lines just north of London, but also features a lot on LMS, GWR and Southern, even Belgian railways!
