Important anniversary coming up. On 5th January 2022, it'll be 40 years since sectorisation began, when Intercity, Provincial, London and South East, Parcels, and Freight, began to market and run the services, decide fares, and own the rolling stock. The regions, until 1991, operated the services, and maintained the infrastructure, doing what the sectors told them to do. Ideas for you all then who, like me, have layouts set in the BR sectorisation era.
