Learning all the time. I have discovered that when you think that after you have laid ballast you need to leave the ballast to dry out for at least 3-4 days before cleaning off the glue on the rails. The ballast may appear to be set and dried on the surface but it could still be damp underneath causing a short current. Be also note full that points will also need to be cleaned out thoroughly.😊
