Could someone enlighten me about turnout wiring please? I have a mixture of Peco setrack and streamline on my layout, all insulfrog. I have wired power separately to all the sections of track with isolator switches, expecting that when the turnout is against that section I can isolate it by turning off the switch. In all but one case (?) I still have power even with the turnout switched against that section and the isolator switch off. Is there some trick I have missed or do I have to cut one of the thin wires under the turnout? Thanks in anticipation.
