As a newbie and only at the planning stage till I get in my loft after Xmas. I've Been busy bidding. And so far I've won this little steam engine which is a Triang R52 47606 and a load of track which to be fair is very rusty. But I've managed to get it clean enough for a test run. Gutted the smoke unit doesn't work but I'll think of something. It seems that it's a very old train so would have been very surprised if it actually worked to be fair. Running it with a Hornby R8213 controller that was given to me by a friend. I'm so happy right now that I've got my first purchased train and track running. Not bad considering I'm now 50 and been wanting to do this for over 15 years. Life life life. I'm more happy for Xmas to be over than I am over Xmas itself. So I can get started. 😂😂
