I was tasked with producing a "memorial" mounted locomotive as a presentation. Using an original Hornby Class 56 as the basis, I set about building a scenic plate to represent a colliery yard. The scenic plate was then mounted on a varnished plinth. I weathered the loco, then bolted the whole ensemble together. This was my first attempt at airbrush weathering, and first use of static grass. I'm happy with the overall effect, just hoping now that the recipient is.
