Advice Please. I read somewhere that someone used a graphite pencil or something to improve the electrical contact on the rail surface. Am having quite a few issues with my 0-6-0 locos and 14xx. Have cleaned the track both with a rubbing block and a liquid cleaner. Have then cleaned the wheels using cotton buds soaked in model cleaner. Quite a lot of grime (black deposit) came off both running surfaces and inside edges. Although improved, they still hesitate in various places. Little My' is DCC with electrofrog points. Longer loco's and dmu run fine. Just seems to be my 0-6-0's. Does this graphite idea work and what do you use.
