First steps in creating a mimic panel for the fiddle yard of one of our club layouts. There will be two more for other parts of the track (it’s a large, multiple operator layout). Budget and simplicity were the key concerns, so we’ve used the cheapest ‘plug & play’ setup we can find. The box is from eBay. The panel itself just a laminated PowerPoint printout. Holes are made with a 5mm punch. The control system is a MiniPanel starter pack from MegaPoints. Buttons will go at the throat of the points, LEDs on the track routes. I’ll post another pic later.
