A significant part of my career was spent in conferences during the intervals of which I was too often aware of muttered comments such as “I wish someone had asked about…….” So, when I started Chairing sessions I would always inform the audience that, “There are no stupid questions, so if you don’t understand, say so! And if there are no questions then I reserve the right to ask the audience questions!” I like to think that the debates in my sessions were the best, and often continued in animated debate throughout the following tea / coffee breaks. Those of you familiar with my posts know I like to ask when I don’t know. Let’s make it our Club motto for 2022 #Therearenostupidquestions
