#tipple#postit A bit of a twist on today’s postit, but still beer and “working” related …….. back in the day, brewing and especially the malting process relied on manual labour (so called Norkies) and it was common for the workers to get a daily beer allowance, taken at break times and usually delivered in metal jugs/cans and shared out…….here’s a few staged pictures of maltsters enjoying a break with their beer…….later edit, note the workers have string tied around their trousers, just below the knee, to stop rats running up their trouser legs
