Evening all, this is my first post so please be gentle 😂 after so long of just running trains on a board and after testing positive for Covid on Tuesday, I decided to get on with attempting to make my fictional as yet to be named Heritage Railway board look a little better… Green scatter put down as a base colour over the black paint that was already down on the board, then a coarse turf mix with some scatter added in to start adding some more depth. First section to be worked on is the little house in the corner, driveway added with fine cinder ballast and the garden areas given a mix of lighter colours. Hedging being stuck down now and eventually a gate will go across the end of the driveway. The other end of the drive sees a larger area for a car to be parked for the Signalman. Ballast to be ordered soon (along with a new point to replace the one that failed this evening) Hopefully it looks alright! Until next time 😁
