Folks I would appreciate some electrical assistance please. Here is my conundrum During one of the many lockdown periods back Over the last 18+ months or so, I ripped up my old layout and started again to reengineer out mistakes. This time I have:- Inserted Bus Wires Put droppers on each piece of track - (one of the challenges that I have created that with everything shut, I could NOT maintain a consistent wire colour - so I had to use odds and ends that I had in my shed) Soldered turnouts to make them live Used a light tester to check for shorts every time I joined a piece of track. I have 5 “juicers” installed The only way I could avoid a short at two points in the track was to insert insulators. Everything runs well except for these 2 places (as the loco crossed over the insulated joints) 1. Loco stops. 2. Once it is moved past the insulated joint, it resets itself and commences to work. HOWEVER it wants to reverse back along the track from whence it has come. Folks after you have picked yourself off the floor from laughing at my predicament - any sage advice would be gratefully received. Harry
