#toptips When ballasting track, prior to gluing, don't waste hours of your life with a small brush trying to remove ballast from tops of sleepers. Gently and simply tap along each rail using an old teaspoon. This replicates the vibration of a real Tamper machine. Any rogue bits of ballast magically drop into place.
