#toptipstuesday Don’t forget grass is rarely green, roads are rarely black and the sky is rarely blue. Yes they can be all of those things but there are so many variations of colour, tone and texture. If you are modelling a scene don’t rely on your preconceptions but do lots of research, photos (Google) and go and look first hand at the real thing. How many of us could recreate the colour of the road outside our house I wonder? I know I would get it wrong without looking, in fact the road on my layout is proving quite a challenge😬
