I know I’m always rambling on about the private Brewery railway systems in my home town so as a bit of background to those interested and who want a 15 min read, I’ve reproduced a reprint of an article that appeared in the Railway Gazette & Railway Magazine back in 1926……this was reproduced again by the Bass museum in 1977. As there are 9 double pages, I’ve put 5 in the main photos an the other 4 in the reply’s/comments below.
