#weekendmodelling #controlpanels Well it’s sort of a control panel! A month or so ago, I shared a video of a Python language script I’d written to completely randomise the selection of wagons needed to operate the layout as a proper Inglenook style layout, to be run on the Raspberry Pi which also helps control the layout. I’ve now updated the program to change the appearance of the user interface, give some explanation as how to how the layout operates, and also to randomly select which loco gets used to organise the train! To clarify, I am still in control of the trains, this simply tells me the order wagons need to be in to run the Inglenook puzzle. This will eventually be a large touch screen hooked up to the Pi, as currently it’s done via remote viewing on a laptop/iPad.
