No ballasting today! I'm "on call" from my son to transport more of his junk from ours, so not getting to a point of no return! Decided to knock a few bushes out... The much-maligned lichen CAN make half decent bushes. I select the nice bushy tips, give em a spray with car primer, then a dose of ASDA's nastiest, cheapest amd stickiest hairspray followed by some of the home made leaf scatter. OK for background if nowt else. Also picked up a blender for a fiver at the Charity shop... It'll do for foam and dead leaves, and will hopefully avoid the unpleasant scenes which ensued when I broached the subject of "borrowing" Mrs O's Kenwood last time!
