Understandbly it went unnoticed, but last year, 2021, marked an important anniversary in Scottish railways. It was the 50th anniversary of the introduction of Push Pull trains on the Edinburgh - Glasgow Queen Street express service. This was two class 27s, sandwiching a rake of six mk2 coaches, all wired up for blue star multiple working. Has anyone ever tried to model one of these trains, and my question is regards to those outwith this community, as well as in this. Incidentally, I also wrote an article, which appeared in an edition of Traction magazine, in 2012, about these trains, and how they helped sow the seeds for the service as it is today.
