For @Dylan Sanderson Here is my HST power car 43057 Bounds Green. The HST set is coupled and has gangways like the Mk4’s. Once the bogies are free to rotate, after having the bulky tension lock couplings removed, the set can be pushed at high speed as well as pulled. It makes a massive difference! I developed this coupling system in 1984, long before Hunt couplings! Once again, the gaps between the coaches are accurate and based on actual measurements.
