Not finished yet but I’m really happy with these! I know they aren’t exact copies of the real DRS escort coaches, but at a total cost of £60 (£40 for the 2 coaches, £20 for the transfers) it’s a far cry from the £180+ for the bachmann ones (not that I can find any for sale anyway). I still need to apply another layer off varnish to dull down the shiny patches where I’ve made some corrections, then it will be on with the transfers, a double check that no more corrections are needed to the paint work, then a small amount of weathering to the bogies and steps, a final varnish and then I’ll display the full train (probably on the kitchen table as my layout is no where near complete)
