I'm currently building a model based heavily on Escrick, near York. It's a beautiful location that's crying out to be modelled, and as far as I'm aware, has never been done! Escrick is located between York and Selby and was originally part of the ECML before the Selby Diversion was built. Escrick was a simple station, serving the villages of Stillingfleet and Escrick, with a handful of goods sidings. I've visited the site to make sure I model it as accurately as I can! I'm making some slight alterations to the track plan, which I hope to share later this month when I can crack on with some more P-Way work. But essentially, just south of the station I'll be adding a double junction for a branch line that should add some more operational interest.
