#stationdetails #overallroofs #realstations #postit I’m combining both yesterday’s and today’s postit theme. This is Tadcaster station, on the Church Fenton-Harrogate line. It was designed by G. T. Andrews (he also designed the original York station). The station was unusual as it had an overall roof. It was closed in 1964 to passengers and 1966 to freight. In was demolished in 1971 and there is no trace of it left. The photos (except the last one, which is from Wikipedia) are from the excellent site Disused Stations.
