#footbridges #postit Hmmmm, I’m going to have to adapt todays postit and just leave the footbridges bit, and there was only 1 footbridge (as far as I can remember) over any of the brewery systems in the town and that was at Shobnall where the exchange sidings between the Bass system met up with the MR then LMS then BR systems……and also the branch into the Maltings complex. It was a favourite spot for spotting brewery locos from above as most peoples view of the brewery 0-4-0s was from street level as they criss-crossed the towns streets. I’ve posted these before but I recon they are worth a second (or third😬) go. Bridge in the background of the 1st photo and spotters views from it in 3rd and 4th.
