#postit #closecoupling Part 1 #huntcouplings To continue from my previous post, here are some photos of the results. Photo1shows them fitted between the cross country coaches. Photo 2 shows the connection between the end coach and power car. The power cars coupling cannot be modified. I was successful in using the same couplings for some old Airfix Mk2d coaches, which needed the coupling to be cut in a different position, but still super glued perfectly. The gangways have to be removed to achieve the closer gap, but I will put my own gangway design on later. See photo 3. I also had some Hunt couplings for NEM pockets, which I used in an Oxford Rail Mk3, to connect to the Hornby Virgin coach. See photo 4. There is a height discrepancy with this, which could cause a problem of the Hornby bogie lifting at one end, but after much checking this does not seem to be happening with mine.
