I decided as I’ve got two of these locos I’ll add a few extras to this one and experiment with a couple of things, the first 2 photos show a before and after with the removal of the white lettering and lining, this was done with Solvol autosol and a couple of cotton buds. The next 3 show how Wilkos paint remover shifts the paint from the cab roof. This took about ten minutes from application. As you can see no damage was caused to the plastic. More details to be added as and when.
