Evening folks! 2 steps forward, 1 step back…. 😲 Street scene and parcels depot removed again to let groundwork commence. Still got some lighting to add so may have to put it back again before the final build. Next stage is to start on detailing the track area. Going to be fairly grimy although I may try and get some flowers in - amazing where buddleia will grow! Picked up some sample pots from B&Q for around £4 each. In normal speak, earth (Fulham) grey (Newburg) and black (Liberty) water based furniture paint (emulsion?!?) mixed to produce earth tones, concrete and grime. I will ballast the track as well as covering surround areas, so only need a base coat to hide the cork. First time I’ve done this, so we will see…! #modellingtip don’t lean on the wet paint, it will stick to your hand…! 🤫 And yes! I know the back scene doesn’t line up… the houses hide the join! 🤣😂🤣
