Finally finished my "middle bit" ballasting tonight. Just shoulders to do on a couple of feet or so... Weekend maybe? As a reward for being good and actually doing some ballasting, I had a play with some rope I found in the back of the works van... They'll not miss 6" of it... Although it WAS the middle 6". Dab of hot glue, a blast of Mrs's Harmony, and a few Noch leaves. They'll do for those sparse spindly things that seem to live in laybys. Also worked up the middle distance on the east backscene with a plantation and a few distant walls. Nearly forgot: the road to the church was a tad overpowering, so its now a path... Theres a platform to take another of the gorgeous SMS benches, and I might do some "long steps"., something I don't recall seeing modelled that often. Off to get me head down now, so won't be chattin! 4.30 start to somewhere south of Bristol. M5 on a Friday. Grrrrr.
