My offering for postittheme and realrailways (sorry, no hashtag on my computer!). To compliment Ged's photo taken at Trowell Junction, here is a view of 45575 Madras on The Waverley, taken in 1959 as the train comes off the Erewash Valley line and heads towards Nottingham. Not a brilliant shot. I was only 14 and had a brownie 127! I was helping in the signal box and nipped out to get the photo, as I knew what was coming!
