#weekendmodelling And now for something completely different... a little idea about a whatif wagon design popped into my head some weeks ago. My modelling has taken a downturn as of late as other things to do like cataloguing 20,000 or so colour slides that I "inherited"... and surprisingly I just haven't felt like doing much modelling as of late either. So a little project involving some old Conflat L models, a new Dapol Bogie Bolster E and some magic will enable this little (haha) project to become reality. Essentially, the whatif wagon centres around the idea of British Railways making a bogie version of the 2-axle Conflat L, which conveys 3 of the L-type powder containers. I managed to obtain the new BoBol E from Doncaster show yesterday, ironically from Culcheth Models not a million miles from where I am based in Northwich doh! Cheers Paul
