Here is my 30 year old Lima class 59, number 59003 Yeoman Highlander, hauling my Yeoman train of hoppers and boxes. Instead of running it at a normal speed, I’ve run it quite slowly, so you can see how well it runs on DCC, despite its age! I am blown away by how slowly it will run. It will go at a crawl but it would mean the video would be too long. Also, because the loco is fitted with metal draw hooks at each end and I have two kit built hoppers with screw link couplings (which is how it used to run at exhibitions), I have coupled the loco to one of those hoppers. It works very well and I am well chuffed to say the least.
