#modular_monday No. 5 There is certainly one obvious challange with modules. That is the sturdiness for transport and repeated dismounting. So it needs special precautions for the track ends at either side of the module. The general aim is to fix the track to the wooden underconstruction. There are many ways but I ended up with only one recommendation. These are the track fixings by the french small business HFR160. They have a track-like look with a flat and spacy contact surface to solder the track to. They are fixed with common type screws and they have pre-drilled holes to invisibly solder the feeder wires to from below. In addition they come in pairs with my standard distance of 3 cm. You can find them here (https://hfr160.fr/produits/accessoires/coupons-de-raccordement-modulaire/) on the homepage and here in the ebay shop of HFR160 (https://www.ebay.fr/itm/Lot-de-2-coupons-de-raccordement-HFR160-double-voie-Peco-code-55-et-Minitrix/143942512122) . Peco track can be easily soldered as they are. If you are coping with Minitrix you will easy your life with a non-acid flux (applied to the track before soldering). In Germany this flux is called solder honey. Modular railroading can be so sweet, too.
