Evening folks! Hope you are all safe and well. I’ve now started the “final build” of #marshallsparcels for #operationshuntit Up to now all the scenery has been held in place by Blue Tac (Grabbit and Rhun’s adhesive of choice…!). Now that all the elements are coming together, time to glue the pieces in permanently… 😳 I glued the houses to the back scene with PVA at first, but found it warped the card whilst it was going off. So then tried Deluxe Materials Roket Card Glue 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Although there were a few 🤞🏻 moments (fingers glued). Tonight I have glued in the first platform and the tarmac pad. Added a bit of ballast to fill the gap between the ballast and the platform, glued with PVA wash, then “stepped away” to let it dry…. Bit of wiring to do on lights next, but that will need to wait for now! 😁 Been experimenting with weathering the ballast in front of the platform. Reasonably pleased with results. Cheers Ross
