First section of OHLE using Peco/Sommerfeldt wires & the Electrotren masts. On a fair few sections of the WCML around Shap / Tebay you can see the changes that NR have done to the original 74 stuff by adding more steelwork / insulator pots to make the side wire more resilient & so using some of the Hobbex insulator posts & some plastruct rod to replicate it , the Hobbex insulators have a a fitting with a hole in to allow 0.45mm handrail to use to be used. Tried it with the nickel silver wire I have but it didn’t look right , so to order some brass wire for it.
