Postman Prat is a silly old; man... He gets a nice shiny new van, then, due to his lazyness, reverses it down to the church postbox to collect the customary one letter per week, ( The Rev. Andy Makers usual 2/6d Postal Order to his "Nephew" in that there big city), and gets the rear wheel stuck in a rut. Rumour has it that the Lady Who Does the Flowers, Mrs Edna Horrible, has gone to fetch her Husband and his "big 'oss" to pull Prat out.
