#goodsyard #shunting #postit As a bit of a alternative to steam or diesel electric/mechanical goods yard engines….here’s a photo of some earlier 1 hp shunters standing outside the LMS Station goods depot in Tamworth, a few miles down the line from my home town, photo is dated 1951, so quite recent for the use of horses.
